Hotel Description

The Intourist Hotel, one of the first hotels of Intourist was built to the design of the noted Soviet architect Alexei Shchusev in 1934. The year 1988 saw its second birth. The restorers, having preserved the outward appearance of the hotel and all of its distinct architectural elements, have renovated the building and improved its comforts, and now the "old Intourist", as the hotel is popularly known in Baku, has once again become one of the best hotels in town. The compact 5-storey building of the hotel, which has 124 beds, is located in the very center of the city in Prospekt Neftyannikov (Oilmen's Avenue), one of the most beautiful avenues in Baku, which is named in honor of those who are engaged in oil production and refining.

The hotel affords a beautiful view of the city and the Baku Bay of the Caspian Sea. In front of the hotel is a shadowy public garden with tables for those who would like to sit for a while in the open air, while sipping at a glass of cool and fresh fruit juice, and across the street is the Primorsky (Seaside) Park with numerous summer restaurants, cafes and amusements, a cinema, an exhibition hall, and famous "Baku's Venice". Located not far from the hotel is the Sports Palace of Hand Games.

The personnel of the hotel, whose motto is comfort and hospitality, will be happy to comply with all your requests.

Welcome to Baku and have a pleasant stay at the Intourist Hotel!
